Where & How to Get a Legal Fishing License

A Tennessee fishing license is required for fishing on Norris Lake.  Non-residents have a choice of purchasing an annual fishing license, 10-day fishing license, or 3-day trout fishing license.  Annual fishing license sales begin on March 1st.

There are a few ways to obtain a Tennessee fishing license:

1. Have your driver’s license and a credit card ready
2. Call the TWRA toll free number at 888-814-8972 
3. Visit the TWRA website at http://www.wildlifelicense.com/tn/ for an online application.
